Plaster or surgery?
Undisplaced fractures are treated in plaster or brace. Displaced, unstable or joint fractures need fixation for proper healing and early movement.

How long does a fracture take to heal?
Usually 6-8 weeks for upper limb and 10-14 weeks for lower limb bones, depending on age and fracture type.
Is the implant removed later?
Most implants stay permanently; removal is considered only if they cause irritation.
